THE LAUGH OF THE MEDUSA

“Censor the body and you censor breath and speech at the same time”
Hélène Cixous in “The Laugh of the Medusa”

This work uses the woman body as canvas, deconstructing it and dismembering it reducing the concept of femininity to a simple object interpreted by each and one of the models. It talks about the ungovernable qualities of identity and the escape from a one and only representation of “The Woman”, reaching for plurality.
