AIDS IMPORTED
When reunions are lost in time ,when sexually transmitted diseases arrive before the money orders and the telephone rarely rings, they turn solitude into their routine.
This installation consists of a series of casts of pants made of latex. This material was chosen because of its properties and similarities with condoms , as if these panties could protect these women from all those diseases. They sometimes suffer in silence not letting anyone in their community or family know the reason why they're getting sicker and sicker.
